The land, the climate and the know-how
Our area
Old vines located on stony soil and on saline sandy loam soil on the edge of the old salt mine, both very poor with excellent permeability and drainage, which is an optimal condition for cultivation.
The Climate
Salinas has a special microclimate for the vineyard, 550 m altitude, the temperature variation between day and night enhances the balanced ripening and acidity of the clusters.
High sunshine and moderate annual rainfall.
Know-how
Two kilos of grapes per vine, harvested and sorted by hand.
Vinification by gravity, fermentation at controlled temperature and finally ageing in French oak barrels.
