Camino del Norte, Compañía de Vinos is the project in El Bierzo of winemakers Raúl Pérez and Luis Miguel Fernández. The name Camino del Norte reflects the profile of these wines: wines that look towards the Atlantic, fresh, elegant, easy to drink. Wines where fruit is the protagonist. Fruit and terroir. Authentic and exclusive estate wines. Wines that reflect Raúl's personality and his permanent genius.
From the Mencía grapes of his own centenary vineyards grown in small plots in Valtuille, which are the ones that give the wines their name, elegant and unique wines are born. Burgundy has long been Raúl's source of inspiration.
Camino del Norte, Compañía de Vinos is not a winery in the traditional sense. Raúl is a free spirit who does and undoes, who goes from here to there, who never stops inventing, testing, changing and changing again.
By his own decision, our wines do not belong to any regulatory council, because for us creative freedom is fundamental. Each vintage is a faithful reflection of nature, the year and the terroir, always in search of excellence.
El Soradal, El Tesón and La Patena are the fruit of years of friendship... wines for the table and for pleasure, for the glass and for friends... authentic signature wines, cult wines...
