The Château de la Ribera. This is also the name given to Condado de Haza, the other great winery in Ribera del Duero. Its fame goes beyond borders. In 2008, the prestigious publication Wine Spectator included Condado de Haza Crianza among the 100 best wines in the world.Familia Fernández Rivera planted the first vineyards in 1987. It did so on the banks of the Duero River, in a land that is already mythical. Today, Condado de Haza has 200 hectares of 100% Tempranillo vineyards, the characteristic grape of the four Familia Fernández Rivera wineries.
In order to perfect its wines, all made with Tempranillo, the structure of this winery was designed by excavating a hill. In addition, it has a bottle cellar located in a tunnel almost 30 metres deep.
