Grégory Pérez is one of the members of the new generation destined to take over the production of Spain's great wines from his Mengoba winery. A project to which he devotes all his energy and which shares with his fellow generation members a philosophy that seeks respect and sustainability in the vineyard. These principles are bringing to light natural wines with the personality of each "terroir".
Bierzo in its purest form.
The vineyards are located in the town of Espanillo, in the Bierzo region, at the headwaters of the river Cúa.
They are located on steep slopes at an altitude of more than 600 m, facing south and ventilated by constant air currents.
The soil is composed of a mixture of clay and decomposed slate, within a wooded environment of great natural diversity.
San Juan de Carracedo
The winery is located in San Juan de Carracedo, a short distance from the beautiful and historic Carracedo Monastery, one of the most important in the Bierzo region and on the Camino de Santiago.
It has several stainless steel tanks of various capacities, as well as French oak casks and barrels for the fermentation and maturation of our white and red wines.
