It is a small project where Carraovejas aims to reinterpret the Ribera del Duero from one of the highest altitude areas in the region: the municipality of Fuentenebro in the province of Burgos. New heights to produce wines within the reach of very few (very low production), indigenous wines that reflect a genuine terroir, at more than a thousand metres above sea level, where the grapes and the environment are exceptional, its soils endowed with an extraordinary mineral richness give unique wines that capture the essence of the environment, the particularity of each of the small vineyards that make up 1076 and the enhancement of one of the areas with the greatest potential in the Ribera.
