The winery, stables and stables from the 15th century are the oldest buildings that remain in their original state. Today, part of these buildings have been converted to other uses to complement the winery, such as a lounge, shop and other services.
With a surface area of around 70 hectares, the Rubianes pazo estate is today a reference point in the world of camellia and Rías Baixas wine in Galicia. Located in the region of Salnés, in the Ría de Arousa, the property has carried out in the last decades important works of recovery of the constructions, of the historical garden as well as of the plantation and start up of the wine exploitation.
As can be read on the stone above the entrance arch. "This house was founded by D. García Caamaño in the year 1.411″. Years later, D. García Caamaño founded the Villa de García, today known as Vilagarcía de Arousa. The original pazo from the beginning of the 15th century was transformed in the 18th century by D. Jacobo Ozores, Lord of Rubianes.
