Some people think that the myth of Vega Sicilia arose because it was an aristocratic, scarce wine, within the reach of the fortunate few, an object of desire that only a privileged few could enjoy. However, what many do not know is that the true origin of the myth lies in a story of illusion, commitment and patience on the banks of the Duero River, as it flows through the heart of Castile, where the river bathes and feeds a unique and singular estate... almost magical.

This barren, wiry, harsh and wise land was destined for something great. It had to ally itself with Time to fulfil its great dream: to give the best of itself, to achieve extraordinary crops that would fill it with pride and show the splendour of nature. But to do this, Earth and Time needed the help of man. Someone to be their eyes and their hands and to cultivate while respecting the rhythms of nature.
