Our vineyards and winery are located in Getaria, a historic fishing village, the birthplace of txakoli. History and tradition, land and sea, txakoli and fishing, modernity and innovation, represent our essence and personality.
THE TXAKOLI
A fresh, fruity wine with characteristic acidity.
Made with Ondarrabi grapes, old, rustic vines from our vineyards in Getaria, which give character and define the Txomin Etxaniz txakolí.
We grow the Ondarrabi zuri and beltza varieties on 60 hectares of vineyards on a slope facing the sea, traditional vines for making txakoli. Harvested by hand at the beginning of October, they are vinified in white with grape selection, pneumatic pressing in an inert atmosphere, fermentation at a controlled temperature and ageing on lees.
