Balandro Wines
The beginnings of Balandro Vinos started in 2015 with the precise selection of some of the best winegrowing areas in Spain to produce wines.
César Velazquez, renowned for his Las Botas project in Jerez, demonstrates with this project that his knowledge is capable of crossing all borders and styles.
In the successful Rueda they have references from organic viticulture, in which they carry out rigorous grape selection processes and careful elaborations to get the maximum performance from the varieties that reign in this denomination of origin: Verdejo and Sauvignon blanc.
Their next two stages took shape in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, from where they have produced some 15,000 bottles of oak red and another 4,000 units of a more expressive wine in an exclusive area of Olivares de Duero, and in Rioja, where they have created the Bala Negra brand, which is presented as an all-terrain crianza that perfectly reflects the style of the Rioja Alavesa.
In this way, they have created a triangle of assured success in the three most followed "R" in Spain: Rueda, Rioja and Ribera del Duero.
