Victoria Ordóñez has been linked to the world of wine since her childhood. Her father, José María Ordóñez, was a pioneer in the distribution of premium wines in the province of Málaga, starting his activity at the end of the 1950s.

Although Victoria's professional career took a different path - she is a doctor of medicine - in 2004 she decided to join the wine sector, combining her new job with health management.

She confesses that she owes everything she knows to the great Austrian oenologist Alois Kracher, with whom she worked side by side until his death in 2007. It was then that Victoria Ordóñez decided to turn her career around, focusing exclusively on the exciting world of wine.

In 2015 she decided to develop her own project to recover the most emblematic native variety in the History of Malaga Wines: the Pedro Ximénez grape from the Montes de Málaga Natural Park, with ecological and sustainability criteria. In this business adventure he is accompanied by his son, Guillermo Martín Ordóñez, an agronomist engineer, who, from the technical direction, contributes his personal vision and creativity to the different elaborations of the winery.

THE WINERY

Founded in July 2015, the winery is located in the city of Malaga, just a few minutes from Pablo Picasso International Airport. Currently, it is the only winery producing wines in the city of Malaga.

With a surface area of 600 square metres, it is equipped with all the necessary equipment to produce quality wines, with a production capacity of up to 50,000 litres.

It has stainless steel tanks of small capacities that allow the vinification of each plot separately, as well as a fleet of French oak barrels that is renewed every year in its entirety.

The winery, therefore, is prepared for artisanal production, according to the production model known as "garage wine".
