Miguel Ángel de Gregorio, owner and oenologist of the winery, is one of the most celebrated figures in the production of "new style" Rioja wines.
Bodegas Finca Nueva is the latest creation of Miguel Ángel de Gregorio. Fourteen years after the birth of Finca Allende, he decided to create a new winery in Briones, very close to Finca Allende.
Located in La Rioja Alta, on a hill 80 metres high, Briones is elevated in a silhouette that expresses the importance of the terroir where it is located, the importance of a terroir that allows us to be closer to the sky.
The project takes as its starting point some 20 hectares of vineyards located in Briones, with mainly clay-limestone and gravel soils. The varieties grown are mainly Tempranillo, Viura and a little Garnacha.
