The essence of Bodegas Prieto Pariente is based on the practice of viticulture in our land and the expression of the terroir of Castilla y León through unique wines.
Our winery was born from the enthusiasm of siblings Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente - third generation of Bodegas José Pariente (D.O. Rueda) - to undertake a winemaking project with a very personal style. Their goal is to create unique wines, which provide a differentiating character, a freshness and complexity profile.
To achieve this, they embarked for almost two years on a search for old and unique vines from the province of Valladolid, along the Duero River, to the mineral slopes of the Sierra de Gredos; in some cases rescuing centenary vineyards that were going to be destemmed.
The style was clear from the beginning: "Wines that express the singularities of each soil, of each climate, through a delicate elaboration. We firmly believe in sustainable viticulture and respect for our roots".
